High-Visibility Orange

The hunting regulation that came into effect in 2014 has revamped the clothing requirements for deer hunters. Previously used red clothing is no longer acceptable; now, orange or fluorescent orange is required. The high-visibility color must cover two-thirds of the visible surface of the hunting vest or jacket and headgear. Therefore, camo patterns featuring branches are still permitted. The use of high-visibility orange is not mandatory when hunting from a building's cover; however, such clothing remains necessary in deer towers.
