This braided line is the result of a meticulous crafting process, ensuring a perfect blend of essential features through continuous refinement and testing. The Westin W6 Braid has been developed using a unique construction, making it suitable for all types of lure fishing. Westin has utilized premium-grade UHMPE (Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene) fiber renowned for its remarkable performance and strength.

To achieve higher abrasion resistance and greater tensile strength, the W6 Braid is designed with a special weave known as "Advanced High PIC." This 8X (8 strands) braided line boasts a structure of 36 PIC (36 braids per inch), resulting in a line that is stronger relative to its diameter. Moreover, the tighter weave (Advanced High PIC) provides a softer surface. The throwing experience is enhanced by a Dura-Coating gel process (coating) that gives the line a smooth and water-repellent finish. This reduces water absorption, lowering friction and enabling more accurate and longer casts!

To ensure the line's color remains vibrant and doesn't fade quickly, the W6 Braid is immersed in a dye tank before being heat-treated, where the color pigment is "baked" onto the line, prior to the Dura-Coating which enhances the line's durability.
