General Overview

The Brook WF is the master of small streams, a reliable companion that excels in controlled casting. Its short head and steep taper enable easy loading of your rod with a light casting motion in tight spaces, allowing for quick and effortless long-distance casts right from short line lengths. This design optimizes line management in relation to fishing targets, essential for precise and subtle presentations. This line shines not only in streams and small rivers but also on heavily vegetated lakesides filled with trees and bushes. Due to dense foliage, many prime fishing spots remain untouched on lakes unless you’re equipped with a boat. With this line, you can perform overhead casts through tree openings as well as roll and underhand casts from beneath branches. The compact head thus opens up new possibilities in challenging conditions!

Taper Design

The head is only 6.5 meters long and designed for casting up to 20 meters from your toes. The majority of the head features a long, gently tapering front taper, which ends in a short and steep rear taper, allowing for easy pickup from the water for new underhand or roll casts due to most of the head's weight being concentrated within a short distance from the rod tip. To create more balanced overhead casts, a 1.75-meter "holding line" has been added, tapering into the running line. This also slightly slows the line's turnover and helps control line presentation at short to medium distances. The head is colored bone white, while the running line with handling section is yellow. The boundary between the head and running line is clearly defined and easily distinguishable due to the contrasting colors, aiding casting dynamics further.

Eco-Friendly Features

This line is free from phthalates, known to be a toxic plasticizer used in PVC lines. The spool and packaging are made from recycled materials.
