A large, highly versatile belt pouch designed to meet a variety of needs and specific tasks. Multi-functional interior organization and numerous external attachment points. The Askare is also easily detachable from backpacks or rucksacks, allowing for integration into a modular and scalable carrying system.

The design of the Askare belt pouch stems from the needs of sharpshooters for convenient carrying of shooter/spotter accessories. During development, the potential for it to be a highly versatile utility pouch was recognized, suitable for both military use and other applications. With a spacious seven-liter capacity and diverse external attachment options, it serves as an extremely flexible general-purpose pouch.

Inside the pouch, there are multiple ways to organize gear: various sizes of elastic loops, flat compartments, attachment loops, and looped Velcro surfaces for securing hook-and-loop organizing accessories.

The back wall features two rows of 50 mm wide elastic bands. The lower row is sewn into two large, approximately 17 cm wide loops (designed for .50 cal Barrett magazines). The upper row is sewn into three smaller, approximately 12 cm wide loops (designed for HK417 magazines). Both ends of the pouch contain short elastic loops for smaller accessories.

The front wall includes two flat compartments with two elastic attachment loops above them. The interior wall has a 35 x 10 cm loop Velcro surface that can accommodate various hook-and-loop organizing accessories.

In the large open compartment at the back of the pouch, there is a closed-cell foam padding. This compartment is suitable for discreetly concealing a sidearm, providing a large belt loop option for carrying the pouch on a standard belt or through the hip belt of a backpack.

PALS webbing on the sides allows for attachment of small pockets and gear outside the pouch. On the horizontal webbing on the front wall, you can attach small pockets, such as a multitool pouch, a tourniquet pouch, or a zipped GP pouch 2x2. On the numerous webbing loops around the pouch, you can secure elastically corded straps to carry various equipment externally, such as tie-downs, tarp fabrics, rain ponchos, etc.

In terms of size and shape, the Askare is best carried on the back, but the pouch is easy to flip to the front for access. The elastic length is also sufficient to carry the pouch in a sling-style over the shoulder. The elastic strap is secured with flaps that stabilize the carrying position.

The Askare belt pouch can be quickly attached to the side compression straps of a rucksack. For this purpose, you need to add compatible SR female buckles to the pouch (e.g., 2M PALS-mount or split-bar female buckles) or use G-hook buckle clips. Quick-attach buckles are not included with the pouch. You can also quickly attach the pouch to the side of a backpack by threading the side compression straps through the wide loops found on the front wall.

While connecting the pouch to a backpack, you can tuck the strap into the open compartment found on the body side of the pouch. Drop the backpack off your back, unclip the pouch, pull out the strap, attach the pre-packed pouch to your waist, and get to work.
