The range features Trout Strategic 8.5, 10.5, and 12.5. The final number indicates the length of the casting head. However, the head lengths also slightly vary within classes of the same model to ensure optimal performance across all line classes.
Scientific Anglers Amplitude Smooth Trout Strategic WF 12.5 is equipped with a long approximately 12.5m casting head. It is specifically designed to deliver flies far with precision and great presentation. The long casting head also provides excellent line control when a significant amount of line is out. An excellent choice for surface fly fishing on larger rivers and lakes.
