The Vision Hybrid fly line is exceptionally versatile and adaptable for multiple fly fishing setups. It features a "Skagit-style" short tapered shooting head that is integrated with a running line without any connection points. This allows the angler to retrieve the line very close when necessary, preventing connection points from snagging on the rod guides. The line is designed for use with Hybrid tips, enabling anglers to choose the weight and length suitable for single-handed, double-handed, or switch setups. First, choose your fishing style (Scandi, Skagit, Switch, or single-handed), then select an appropriate Hybrid line weight (shooting head) for your rod, and finally choose a compatible tip to attach your leader and fly. Note that the same Hybrid line can be utilized with various rods, and with tip changes, it suits many different fishing situations. The second product image includes a chart that outlines recommended lines for various rods. Recommended tip lengths are 10' for single-handed and switch setups, 12.5' tips for double-handed Skagit casts, and 15' tips for double-handed Scandi (shooting head) casts. For large rivers, you might opt for a 20' tip with a robust double-handed setup.
