 The Vision PikeManiac is designed for serious pike fly fishermen, excelling with large, heavy flies that resist wind. The PikeManiac features a 12-meter casting head with an additional 4-meter Handling Zone, which is a thicker section of running line. The Handling Zone increases durability and also enhances control in the air, especially for long casts. The casting head is heavily front-weighted, allowing for quick rod loading and smooth fly movement without unnecessary false casts, while also effectively cutting through wind. The line is constructed on a minimally stretchy Low Stretch core, ensuring you feel every bite, set the hook effectively, and conserve casting energy, making the line efficient from a casting perspective. Equipped with loops on both ends, connecting to your backing line and leader is effortless, and the line details are printed at the base of the tip loop.
