The set includes a powerful, four-piece medium action rod with an unfinished blank, which is elegantly coated in green—a color iconic to the fly fishing community thanks to the legendary GT Four rod series from years past. The reel is a modern, machined XLV #5/6, which you may recognize from the Sissos reel collection. However, Vision has crafted a special edition of this reel in green exclusively for the Trout set, and it is not sold separately. The line represents Vision's new generation with the Feel 90, featuring a nine-meter casting head in bright yellow, transitioning to an olive green in the first four meters, while the running line is white. Being part of the Feel product family, known for its soft feel and smooth casting, this line is exceptionally easy to throw. Additionally, the line memory is very low, allowing it to lay extremely straight on the water surface, enhancing sensitivity for cautious strikes. Both ends of the line feature small loops for easy attachment to the backing line and leader, minimizing noise in the rod guides. The set also includes the appropriate amount of 20 lb backing line and a tapered nine-foot leader, establishing a truly standard-setting kit. This complete setup is packaged in a convenient and well-protected cordura tube that includes a reel pouch at one end—no need to detach the reel from the rod when you secure your best fishing buddy in the tube, ready for the next adventure!
