The Bug-A-Salt 3.0 is a pump-action shotgun designed for the effective hunting of flies and other pests. The ammunition consists of regular fine table salt, which is loaded into the gun's magazine. One full magazine holds enough for up to 80 shots. Each shot uses only a few tenths of a gram of salt, so there's no fear of your living room turning into a salt desert. The optimal shooting distance is about 1 meter, but with some luck, you can hit pests from further away. Shooting too close can make it difficult to hit, as the salt won’t spread over a larger area and the pest may break apart, leaving a mess behind. For optimal effectiveness, a shot at a pest will keep it intact, making cleanup easy.
The BUG-A-SALT 3.0 is custom-designed for serious fly hunters. Fly hunters will appreciate the upgrades in the 3.0 model, such as a cross-bolt safety, redesigned trigger mechanism, and a Patridge sight (the sight is named after the famous gunsmith Patridge, not to be confused with a bird).
