Abisko Endurance 3 is an exceptionally strong and reliable four-season tunnel tent, suitable for demanding conditions and challenging terrains. The uniform-height inner tent and large vestibule provide additional space, which is particularly necessary if you need to stay inside due to inclement weather.
All materials and details of the tent are carefully chosen to perform well even in cold conditions. For instance, the guy lines and zipper pulls are large enough to be operated with thicker winter gloves. The strong storm cords feature double stitching and use reflective threads. The ground anchor points are large enough to allow the use of poles or skis instead of pegs when pitching the tent in snowy conditions. Durable tent pegs provide excellent grip even on difficult terrain. Vents and doors are equipped with reflectors.
The outer tent and inner tent are attached to each other, so the inner tent stays dry even when pitching the tent in the rain. The pole tunnels of the tent are color-coded for easy handling.
The inner tent is spacious and also takes good sitting height into consideration. The vestibule provides ample space for storing gear, cooking, and other activities. Two entry points facilitate easy movement inside and out and allow the use of the wind-side door in poor weather. Practical features include gear loops in the vestibule and inner tent, as well as several mesh pockets that help keep gear organized.
Large, high ventilation openings ensure good airflow. All openings in the tent are equipped with a fine mosquito net, and they can be covered by the outer tent fabric if the tent is used in snow or sand. In warm weather, doors can be secured in a partially open position to improve ventilation without letting rain inside the inner tent. The YKK zippers on the outer tent have an automatic locking function, so they won't slip open even in strong winds. The mosquito net on the outer tent doors keeps most insects out of the vestibule, which is convenient when cooking or if you have a dog with you.
The outer tent is made from Fjällräven's new high-quality TripleRip nylon fabric. The durability-to-weight ratio of the tent is ideal, combining two different thicknesses of fabric in its innovative structure: 20 denier in the upper part of the tent and 40 denier reinforcements at the bottom, where abrasion against the ground is greatest. Like other Fjällräven tents, the Keb Endurance 3 is also free from PVC plastic and is treated to resist fire. It also features a fluorocarbon-free finish.
