Abisko Endurance 3 is an exceptionally durable and reliable four-season tunnel tent ideal for demanding conditions and rugged landscapes. Its spacious inner tent and large vestibule offer additional space that is essential when you need to stay inside due to bad weather.
All materials and details of the tent have been meticulously chosen to function well even in cold conditions. For example, the zippers and pull tabs are designed for easy handling even with thick winter gloves. The strong storm guy lines include double tensioning and reflective threads. The ground anchors are large, allowing you to use trekking poles or skis instead of stakes when setting up the tent in snowy conditions. Robust tent pegs provide excellent grip in difficult terrain. The vents and doors have reflective features.
The outer and inner tents are attached together, preventing the inner tent from getting wet during setup in the rain. The tent's pole tunnels are color-coded for easier assembly.
The inner tent is spacious, with ample headroom. The vestibule offers generous space for storing gear, cooking, and other activities. Two entrances facilitate easy access in and out, allowing you to use the wind-protected door during inclement weather. Practicality is enhanced with hanging loops in the vestibule and inner tent, along with multiple mesh pockets to keep your gear organized.
Large, high vents ensure excellent airflow. All openings are fitted with a fine mosquito mesh, which can be covered with the outer tent fabric when you are using the tent in snow or sand. On warm days, the doors can be secured in a partially open position to improve ventilation without letting rain in. The YKK zippers on the outer tent feature an automatic locking mechanism, so they won’t zip open even in high winds. The mosquito net on the outer tent's doors keeps most insects out of the vestibule, which is practical when you want to prepare food or have a dog with you.
The outer tent is made of Fjällräven’s new high-quality TripleRip nylon fabric. The durability-to-weight ratio of the tent is ideal, featuring an innovative structure that combines two different thicknesses of fabric: 20 denier on the upper part of the tent and reinforced 40 denier on the lower part, where abrasion against the ground is greatest. Like other Fjällräven tents, the Keb Endurance 3 does not contain PVC plastic and is free of fire-retardant chemicals. It also has a fluorocarbon-free treatment.
