Fjällräven Abisko Lite 2 Tent
The Fjällräven Abisko Lite 2 tent is a compact and stable shelter for hikers who do not want to carry heavy loads. The structure has been optimized so the weight remains as light as possible. This four-season tent is easily adaptable for various temperature ranges. The outer tent is made from Fjällräven’s new high-quality TripleRip nylon. It features an innovative design that combines two different thicknesses of fabric – 20 denier in the upper section and 40 denier on the bottom, where abrasion is greatest. This design enhances durability while maintaining a lightweight profile. The outer and inner tents are connected to ensure the inner tent stays dry during setup. Equipped with two color-coded poles, spacious pole tunnels, and conveniently adjustable pole holders, handling the tent is straightforward. Additionally, the option to use a double pole (available as an accessory) allows for enhanced stability in challenging conditions. Six Dyneema storm guy lines with reflective thread and one-handed adjustment provide ease of use. The tent boasts large, high-placed ventilation openings for excellent airflow. In warmer conditions, the outer tent can be rolled up from both ends to improve ventilation. If the weather is warm yet unpredictable, the door can be secured in a partially open position. The outer tent features a YKK zipper with an automatic locking function to prevent wind from blowing it open. The inner tent door and all ventilation openings include a fine mosquito net to keep even the smallest, nearly invisible insects at bay. An inner tent clothesline and mesh pockets facilitate drying gear and keeping items organized. There are attachment points for a Gear Loft (available as an accessory) within the inner tent. Like other Fjällräven tents, the Abisko Lite 2 is free from PVC plastics and is certified free from harmful flame-retardants. It also features a fluorocarbon-free treatment.
