The Kånken was originally released to solve the back problems of schoolchildren. Thanks to its simple yet ingenious design, the backpack distributes weight evenly across both shoulders, effectively preventing back and shoulder pain. Over the decades, the popularity of the "Kånken bag" has only increased, with no signs of slowing down.

Forget about backpacks that last only a year or two. The Kånken is made from durable and lightweight Vinylon F fabric, which repels moisture during winter slush and summer downpours. However, it is not completely waterproof or weather-resistant. Nonetheless, professional photographers trust this backpack so much that they carry thousands of euros worth of camera equipment inside. Kånken focuses particularly on the quality of zippers used in the backpack. The zippers are covered with fabric to keep moisture out of the bag.

The Kånken is easy to fill and empty - the square-shaped backpack has a spacious 16-liter main compartment, which allows for easy packing and unpacking due to its large zippered opening. The narrow yet deep side pockets are perfect for storing a phone, phone charger, small items, or even a water bottle and umbrella. There is also a separate zippered pocket at the front.

The backpack includes a PE foam pad that sits in an inner pocket against your back, preventing the contents of the backpack from pushing against your back. At the top, there are carry handles, a reflective logo at the front, and a name tag inside the main compartment. Thanks to the narrow but thoughtfully designed shoulder straps, the backpack evenly distributes weight on the shoulders. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable for the user.

Matter what you decide to do, do not put the Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, clean dirty spots with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or sponge. The Kånken should be dried by hanging it in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Do not leave the Kånken in direct sunlight as the color may fade. The Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. Strongly dyed colors may lose some dye while wet.
