Whatever you decide, do not put Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, clean dirty spots with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or sponge. It is advisable to dry Kånken by hanging it in a well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight. Avoid leaving Kånken in direct sunlight; it can fade. Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. Strongly dyed colors may lose some color when wet.
