- A Backpack Designed for Your Back
The Kånken was originally introduced to tackle back problems faced by schoolchildren. Thanks to its simple yet ingenious design, the backpack distributes weight evenly on both shoulders, effectively preventing back and shoulder pain. Over the years, the popularity of this "fox backpack" has only grown, showing no signs of slowing down.
Forget backpacks that last a year or two. The Kånken is made from durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric that repels moisture during snowy winters and summer downpours. It is not completely waterproof or weatherproof, but even professional photographers trust this backpack enough to carry gear worth thousands of euros in it. The Kånken pays particular attention to the quality of the zippers used, which are covered with fabric.
Easy to Load and Unload - The square-shaped backpack features a spacious 16-liter main compartment, which is easy to pack and unpack thanks to a large zippered opening. The slim but deep side pockets are perfect for storing your phone, phone charger, small items, or even a water bottle and umbrella. There's also a separate zippered pocket on the front.
The backpack includes a PE foam seat pad stored in the back pocket, preventing the contents from pressing against your back. At the top, you’ll find carry handles, a front reflector logo, and a name tag inside the main compartment. Thanks to the narrow but carefully designed shoulder straps, the backpack distributes weight evenly across the shoulders. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust for a comfortable fit.
The Kånken backpack is versatile for countless uses! Navigate crowded spaces, cycle through hilly terrain, hike in nature, hang out with friends, or use the Kånken as your school or work bag.

Note! Machine washing and dry cleaning are not allowed for Kånken backpacks. No matter what you decide, do not put the Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, clean dirty spots with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or sponge. Allow the Kånken to dry by hanging it in a well-ventilated space, protected from direct sunlight. Do not leave the Kånken in direct sunlight as the color may fade. The Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. Dark colors may faintly bleed when wet.
