- Built to withstand wear and tear year after year
Crafted from durable and water-repellent Vinylon-F fabric, the Kånken backpack has been a top choice among backpacks for decades. Kånken is one of the few backpacks that people know by name. Countless color options are available, with new additions ongoing.
The Kånken offers optimal back support.
When Kånken was launched in 1978, it aimed to address schoolchildren's back issues. At that time, back problems were spreading to younger age groups, while messenger bags remained more popular. The backpack featured multiple functions but was designed to be simple and clear. It quickly became a common sight in preschools and daycare centers everywhere. The concept of carrying a backpack spread rapidly, as did the popularity of Kånken. Now, it remains equally popular as an excellent choice for school, hikes, or bike commutes. The Kånken is made of durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric. It features a large main compartment with a wide opening, allowing for easy packing and access to belongings. There are 2 side pockets and a zipped front pocket. It has a carrying handle on top, narrow, flexible shoulder straps, a seat pad in the back pocket, and a reflector logo.

Note! Water and dry cleaning are prohibited for Kånken backpack care.
Whatever you decide to do, do not put the Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, clean dirty spots with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or sponge. It is recommended to dry the Kånken by hanging it in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Avoid placing the Kånken directly in sunlight as the color may fade. Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. Some colors may bleed slightly when wet.
