- A Backpack Friendly to Your Back
Originally introduced to tackle children’s back issues, the Kånken’s simple yet clever design evenly distributes weight across both shoulders, significantly reducing strain on the back and shoulders. Over the decades, the popularity of this "fox backpack" has only grown, with no signs of slowing down.
Forget backpacks that wear out in a year or two. The Kånken is made from durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric, which repels moisture whether caught in winter sleet or summer downpours. However, it is not fully waterproof or weatherproof. Professional photographers trust this backpack so much that they carry thousands of euros worth of camera equipment in it. Kånken focuses especially on the quality of the zippers used in the pack, which are covered with fabric.
The Kånken is easy to fill and empty - The square-shaped backpack features a spacious 16-liter main compartment with a large zip opening that makes packing and unpacking effortless. Slim but deep side pockets are perfect for storing a phone, charger, small items, or even a water bottle and umbrella. There's also a separate zip pocket on the front.
The backpack includes a PE foam seat pad that fits into a dedicated inner pocket to prevent the contents from pressing against your back. At the top, there are carry handles, a front reflector logo, and a name label inside the main compartment. The narrow but thoughtfully designed shoulder straps evenly distribute weight across the shoulders. The straps are easily adjustable for a perfect fit.
The Kånken backpack serves countless purposes! Whether navigating through crowds, biking on hilly terrain, hiking in nature, hanging out with friends, or using it as a school or work bag.

Note! Water and dry cleaning are prohibited for Kånken backpack maintenance.
Whatever you decide to do, do not machine wash the Kånken. Instead, clean dirty spots with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or sponge. Let the Kånken dry by hanging it in a well-ventilated area, sheltered from direct sunlight. Avoid exposing the Kånken to direct sunlight as colors may fade. The Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. Strongly dyed colors may release some dye when wet.
