- Back-friendly school backpack
Kånken was originally introduced to solve the back problems of schoolchildren. Thanks to its simple yet ingenious design, the backpack distributes weight evenly across both shoulders and effectively prevents back and shoulder pain. Over the decades, the popularity of the “fox backpack” has only grown, showing no signs of waning.
Forget backpacks that last a year or two in use. The Kånken is made from durable and lightweight Vinylon F fabric, which repels moisture during winter drizzle and summer downpours. However, it is not completely waterproof or rainproof. Professional photographers trust this backpack so much that they carry thousands of euros worth of camera equipment in it. Kånken has particularly focused on the quality of the zippers used in the backpack, which are covered with fabric.
Kånken is easy to fill and empty - the square-shaped backpack features a spacious main compartment of 16 liters, easily packed and unpacked thanks to the large zippered opening. Narrow but deep side pockets are perfect for storing a phone, phone charger, small items, or even a water bottle and umbrella. There is also a separate zippered pocket at the front.
The backpack includes a PE foam seat pad that resides against the back in a special inner pocket, preventing the contents of the backpack from pressing against the back. On top, there are carry handles, a reflector logo at the front, and a name label inside the main compartment. The narrow yet carefully designed shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across the shoulders. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust to fit the user.
There are countless uses for the Kånken backpack! Hike in the city, cycle through hilly terrain, camp in nature, hang out with friends, or use Kånken as a school or work backpack.

Note! Water and dry cleaning are prohibited in the care of Kånken backpacks. Whatever you decide to do, do not put Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, clean dirty spots with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or sponge. Kånken should be dried by hanging it in a well-ventilated place and out of direct sunlight. Do not leave Kånken in direct sunlight, as the color may fade. Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. Strongly colored dyes may bleed a little when wet.
