- A back-friendly school backpack
Kånken was originally introduced to address back problems faced by schoolchildren. Thanks to its simple yet ingenious design, the backpack distributes weight evenly across both shoulders, effectively preventing back and shoulder pain. Over the decades, the popularity of this "fox backpack" has only grown and shows no signs of slowing down.
Forget backpacks that only last a year or two in use. Kånken is crafted from durable and lightweight Vinylon F fabric that repels moisture during winter's slushy rains and summer downpours. However, it is not completely waterproof or weatherproof. Nevertheless, professional photographers rely on this pack so much that they carry thousands of euros worth of camera equipment in it. Kånken emphasizes quality in the zippers used in the backpack, with zip covers that keep moisture out.
Kånken is easy to fill and empty - the square-shaped backpack features a spacious 16-liter main compartment that is easy to pack and unpack thanks to a large zippered opening. The narrow but deep side pockets are perfect for storing your phone, charger, small items, or even a water bottle and umbrella. Additionally, there is a separate zippered pocket at the front.
The backpack includes a PE foam padded seat that fits into the inner pocket against the back, preventing the contents from pressing against your back. At the top are carrying handles, and it features a reflective logo on the front as well as a name label inside the main compartment. Thanks to the narrow yet carefully designed shoulder straps, the backpack distributes weight evenly across the shoulders, and they are easy to adjust for a perfect fit. There are countless uses for the Kånken backpack! Whether walking through crowds, biking on hilly terrain, hiking in nature, hanging out with friends, or using it for school or work.

Note! Water and dry cleaning are prohibited when caring for Kånken backpacks.
Whatever you decide to do, do not put the Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, clean dirty areas with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush or cloth. It is best to dry the Kånken by hanging it in a well-ventilated area and out of direct sunlight. Also, do not leave the Kånken in direct sunlight as it may fade. The Kånken prefers shade or less intense sunlight. There may be some color bleeding from strongly dyed colors when wet.
