This axe is hand-forged from Swedish axe steel at Hults Bruk employing traditional techniques that date back to 1697. The blade is tempered through numerous strikes to ensure density and durability. The axe is named after Gunnar Ekelund, a landowner who began axe production at Hults Bruk between 1870 and 1875.
