This premium four-season gas blend enhances stove performance and operates effectively in cold and high-altitude conditions: 25% Propane, 70% Isobutane, and 5% N-Butane. Net weight 100g (gross weight 194g).
Equipped with a standard thread (EN417) compatible with almost all other gas stoves and lanterns on the market, its small size makes it an intelligent choice.
Jetpower gas cartridge composition:
25% Propane: Enhances performance in cold conditions. It features a higher partial pressure and lower boiling point compared to Iso- or N-Butane. This is used to maintain pressure throughout the cartridge's usage and improve performance in cold weather. More propane means better performance.
5% N-Butane: Common, "standard" butane. It has a lower partial pressure than Iso-Butane. This is not a primary component of Jetpower fuel. It is cheaper.
70% Iso-Butane: The expensive part of the blend! One of the two most common forms of butane. It has a higher partial pressure than N-Butane. The difference lies in the molecular structure and the arrangement of carbon atoms. Iso-Butane enhances cold weather performance and allows for consistent gas performance throughout the cartridge's usage. It burns cleaner and reduces nozzle clogging.
