THE EDGE autoSHARP is an innovative knife sharpener that automatically adjusts the sharpening angle to match your knife. With the autoSHARP, you can sharpen and hone kitchen knives, folding knives, meat cleavers, and other types of knives.

Automatically Adjustable Sharpening Angle
Unlike traditional V-shaped sharpeners, the autoSHARP features sharpening rods that adjust to the blade's angle. This is achieved using side springs topped with tungsten carbide grinding plates. The sharpener automatically adapts to the cutting angle of the blade, making it suitable for honing various types of blades.

Many knife users are unaware of their knife's original cutting angle, and this is where the autoSHARP excels as it simplifies the process, allowing for quick and easy sharpening of dulled edges. It can also be used to sharpen serrated knives, which typically require a specialized sharpener.

Sharpening and Honing
THE EDGE autoSHARP is an effective sharpener that allows you to repair, sharpen, and hone a dull blade. For initial sharpening, place the blade on the sharpening area (blade facing down) and pull the knife back and forth until the edge is sharp.

The angle between the knife handle and the base of the sharpener should be between 15° and 45°. Honing is done in the same manner, but the tip of the knife should be pointing upwards. The recommended angle between the blade and the base of the sharpener is also 15° to 45°. When sharpening and honing serrated knives, the knife should be held horizontally without tilting the blade up or down.
