Walther AFW 2 Folding Knife

The 71 mm long blade is crafted from Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel, which has characteristics similar to 440C steel, including a high carbon content. The blade is hardened to a Rockwell scale hardness of 57-59 HRC, ensuring excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, long-lasting sharpness, and easy re-sharpening.
Featuring a stylish satin finish, the blade minimizes reflections. Its long clip point profile, high concave grind, robust tip, and gently curved cutting edge offer superior cutting performance and good penetration.
The blade can be quickly opened with one hand using a dual-sided thumb stud (modified thumb plate). This makes the knife easy to use for both right-handed and left-handed individuals.
When opened, the blade securely locks in place with a robust back-lock mechanism. The lock can be released by pressing a visible button in the handle recess, allowing the locking mechanism to disengage.
The knife features satin-finished walnut wood scales that provide a natural and refined appearance. The handle's design, complete with finger grooves, enhances grip and comfort in use. Inside the handle are steel liners that add structural integrity.
The knife can be carried in a durable leather sheath (with a snap closure) or with a steel clip attached to the top (handedness cannot be changed).
