Walther FFK Folding Knife with Friction Lock
The blade of this knife is crafted from high-quality 440C stainless steel, hardened to a rock-solid 57–59 HRC. Its elevated carbon content ensures exceptional wear resistance, maintaining sharpness for a long time, while also being easy and quick to sharpen – an essential feature for any outdoor knife. The blade boasts an elegant satin finish.
The friction folder is a traditional folding knife without a formal locking mechanism. Its locking capability is provided by the blade extending partially beyond the handle when folded, with a lever preventing the blade from closing while held in hand. The only protection against accidental closure comes from the friction and grip provided by this lever.
To open the blade, a so-called Piedmont lever is used – a long pin that slides into the handle as the blade opens. During use, the hand naturally presses the lever, preventing the blade from folding back. This design makes the knife easy and comfortable to use for both right- and left-handed users.
The knife features CNC-machined G10 laminate scales. The fine-textured surface pattern and ergonomic design ensure a secure and comfortable grip. The included Kydex sheath and lanyard allow for versatile carry options, either around the neck or in a pocket.
