The Walther HFC1 is a flashlight specifically designed for hunting use, featuring both white and red light options. This durable flashlight boasts a waterproof aluminum body (IPX8 rating). Its ergonomic design, combined with a textured grip for superior hold, makes it safe and comfortable to use. The light source consists of two LEDs (Luminus SST40 and Nichia 319B) producing white and red light. In white light mode, there are 4 brightness settings: 5, 50, 350, and 1000 lumens. The red light also has 4 brightness levels: 2, 10, 80, and 250 lumens. The beam is dispersed with a smooth reflector, providing an effective range of up to 245 meters (white light in turbo mode). The red light minimizes visibility to preserve night vision.

The color of the Walther HFC1 hunting flashlight is changed by rotating the head of the flashlight. It has two separate buttons on the rear for activating the light and adjusting brightness levels. The Walther HFC1 operates on a high-capacity 21700 rechargeable battery, but, thanks to the included adapter, it can also utilize an 18650 battery or two CR123 batteries. The flashlight's controller features a memory function, allowing it to start automatically on the last used setting. Another convenient feature is a lockout mode, which prevents accidental activation during transportation.
