Butler Creek "Flip-Open" lens covers have been a favorite among shooters for over 20 years. Butler Creek's lens covers feature a silent "Quiet Open" mechanism, allowing for fast and noiseless access. These covers also protect your optics from water damage. The rugged Butler Creek lens covers withstand extreme conditions (operating temperature -40 to +120 degrees Celsius). They are well-suited for left-handed shooters as well. Refer to the table below for the correct size.
Objective (obj) refers to the front lens.
Ocular (okul) refers to the rear lens.
In some cases, Butler Creek may not offer a sufficiently large lens cover specifically for the rear lens, but you can comfortably use the cover designed for the front lens on the ocular end as well. The only distinguishing feature between the front and rear covers, aside from the size range, is the release button for the rear cover.
Sizing Instructions:
Measure the outer diameter of your scope with a caliper or as accurately as possible using a ruler. The lens covers can stretch reasonably well by about 0.5mm, so choose the correct size as accurately as possible. If unsure between two sizes, opt for the larger one. You can reduce the size of a larger cover by placing a piece of electrical tape on the inside of the cover.
