Butler Creek “Flip-Open” lens covers have been a favorite among shooters for over 20 years. Butler Creek lens covers withstand extreme conditions with a temperature range of -40 to +120 degrees Fahrenheit. They are also conveniently designed for left-handed shooters. Refer to the size chart included for the correct fit.
The objective (obj) refers to the front lens.
The ocular (okul) refers to the rear lens.
In some cases, Butler Creek does not offer a sufficiently large lens cover for the rear lens. However, you can comfortably use the ocular cover on the front lens as well. The only distinction between the front and back covers, aside from the range of sizes, is the button that opens the rear cover.
Measuring instructions:
Measure the outer diameter of the binoculars with calipers or as accurately as possible using a ruler. The lens covers stretch reasonably about 0.5mm, so select the best fit size. If there is hesitation between two sizes, opt for the larger one. A larger cover can always be adjusted down by placing a piece of electrical tape on the interior of the cover.
