The EKA Swede T9 folding knife, designed with a tanto blade profile, is an excellent tool for every hiker, hunter, cabin-goer, and angler. This knife can be safely carried in your pants pocket, and it can be opened one-handed when you need it.
The black, non-reflective blade extends from the G10 laminate handle to the very tip. These features make the Swede T9 a durable tool suitable for any conditions.
The patterned, slightly curved handle is expertly shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. The base of the blade's spine features a "hacked" thumb rest, ensuring a secure grip when additional control is needed. The sharp edge of the blade includes a serrated section for cutting through exceptionally tough materials. The spine extends into a pointed tip that can double as a glass breaker. This area features a hole for a lanyard, providing extra security to prevent drops. The package includes about 45 cm of paracord 550, with pre-looped ends and a metal carabiner on one end, designed for this purpose.
The handle scales are attached to the spine with high-quality machine screws, making it easy to thoroughly clean the knife by removing the screws.
Included as an accessory with the T9 is the Mini-Firesharp multi-tool, which is suitable for sharpening the knife and starting a fire.

Based in Eskilstuna, Sweden, EKA has been manufacturing knives since 1882. The company's history includes numerous noteworthy moments. In 1986, the "Classic 6" was the first EKA knife to reach space. In 1990, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden awarded EKA a royal warrant, a sign of the manufacturer’s status and the high quality of its products.
EKA still cherishes industry traditions today while also designing and producing new, fully modern cutting tools and knives. The user base of EKA products is incredibly wide, ranging from outdoor enthusiasts and hunters to berry and mushroom pickers, emergency responders, and military personnel to collectors.
