The front-trigger firing mechanism operates similarly to a standard rear-trigger mechanism, but features a small initial take-up that is removed by pulling the trigger until a noticeable threshold is reached, after which the firearm discharges. The trigger resistance is adjustable to approximately 1 - 2 kg. This mechanism is particularly beneficial for long-distance target shooting or precision shooting due to its excellent trigger feel.
The mechanism includes a two-position safety.
The front-trigger firing mechanism is not sold separately but must be installed by a Sako authorized and trained gunsmith. The personnel at Sissos includes a Sako authorized gunsmith who can perform the installation on-site.
Note! When installing on a new firearm, the labor cost is included in the price of the trigger mechanism. However, if you want the mechanism installed on an existing rifle, there will be an additional charge for the installation time, approximately one hour of work (60€) plus shipping costs (60€). The front-trigger mechanism replaces the original trigger mechanism, and the standard mechanism is not included in the delivery.
