Trigger Mechanism Tikka T1x / T3 / T3x, Left-Handed
The Trigger Mechanism for Tikka T1x, T3, T3x, or Sako Quad rifles is available with the purchase of a new firearm.
This trigger mechanism, also known as a "set trigger" or stecher mechanism, operates just like a standard trigger mechanism without a typical first stage. However, it offers additional value by allowing for a lighter trigger pull by pushing the trigger forward. When the trigger mechanism is set, the pull weight drops from 1.2 kilograms to approximately 250 grams. This feature is especially advantageous for bird hunting, long-range shooting, or precision shooting.
The set trigger can easily be restored to normal mode by using the safety mechanism.
The trigger mechanism is not sold separately and must be installed by a gunsmith authorized and trained by Sako.
Note: When installed on a new firearm, labor costs for the installation are included in the price of the trigger mechanism. However, if you want to install the mechanism on an existing rifle, you will be billed for approximately one hour of labor. The set trigger replaces the original trigger mechanism, and the standard mechanism is not included in the delivery.
