The MDT Field Stock – Tikka T1x – Black is a robust accessory stock featuring an aluminum chassis that provides exceptional rigidity. With its traditional design, this stock is ergonomically crafted to help shooters achieve a stable firing position. First, the lock and action are securely attached to the stock utilizing a solid aluminum V-block bedding. This bedding is meticulously machined to minimize tolerances and movement during firing. Another crucial feature is the free-floating barrel, which ensures that the forend and other components do not touch the barrel. Both features enhance the firearm's consistency and help maximize accuracy. The T1x version of the stock utilizes the original Tikka magazines.

Thanks to its adjustable features, this platform suits nearly all shooters. The cheek riser height can be easily adjusted without tools using the adjustment knob located beneath the cheek piece, enabling an optimal shooting position with different types of optics. Importantly, the action can be detached from the stock when the cheek riser is set to its lowest position. The length of pull can also be adjusted using the included spacer pieces.

The stock offers versatile options for attaching accessories. The M-LOK mounting points on the sides and bottom of the forend allow for the installation of bipods and other accessories. Additionally, sling swivel mounts accommodate sling attachment, and various compatible accessories with appropriate mounting systems can also be used.
