N555 powder is specially designed for precision shooting rifle calibers such as 6mm & 6.5 Creedmoor, .260 Remington, .284 Winchester, and .30-06 Springfield, as well as cartridge calibers with relatively large case volume and relatively small bullet diameter.

One of the key features of Vihtavuori powders is the use of pure and only the finest raw materials in the manufacturing process. Following extensive testing and product development, a copper fouling inhibitor has been added to all powder types. This additive prevents copper from adhering to the barrel, significantly reducing gun fouling.
