The NITEpod CARBON Tripod is designed as the premier precision support system on the market. Its carbon fiber legs offer unparalleled stability and durability for hunting from season to season.
The leg tubes of the NITEpod CARBON Tripod consist of three varying thicknesses of carbon fiber. The bottom CARBON fiber tube that rests against the ground has a diameter of 36mm, making it the thickest. The middle tube measures 32mm in diameter. The top tube has a diameter of 28mm.
The ball joint at the top of the NITEpod CARBON Tripod features two (2) soft-turning joints that rotate 360° and can each be opened and closed individually! This is an extremely useful feature in fast-paced situations. The ball joint also allows for smooth adjustments up and down.
The NITEpod CARBON Tripod's clamp securely holds any firearm in a hands-free position, freeing up your hands. The jaws open up to 80mm wide. The firearm is securely fastened in a 360° soft-rotating and ball-jointed aluminum clamp, tightening to the desired position in an instant. The clamp’s contact surfaces are rubber-coated to protect the valuable firearm stock.
The adjustable shooting height range (30 – 165cm) allows for shooting from prone, sitting, kneeling, or standing positions. The non-slip locks ensure quick locking and releasing.
The Arca-Swiss Mount quick-release system facilitates the attachment and swapping of optical devices back to the clamp as needed. This system also allows for the mounting of other optical devices such as spotting scopes, thermal cameras, etc., onto the tripod. Additionally, firearms equipped with an Arca rail can be attached directly to the tripod without a clamp.
