The NITEforce VHF Power Antenna is equipped with a single core amplifier, strategically located in the center of the antenna's body. This finely tuned amplifier unit enhances the reception of your VHF radio, making it indispensable for clear communication in the field. The top section of the antenna is tapered, allowing for easy bending and flexibility, making it ideal for traversing challenging terrains, such as dense forests or brush.
The NITEforce VHF Power Antenna is one of the lightest antennas on the market in its length category (50cm), weighing only 42 grams! In contrast, older and heavier wilderness antennas may loosen from their soldering when hitting branches over time, which can weaken your radio signal and lead to dropped connections. With the new generation flexible Flexx tip, this risk factor has been completely eliminated.
The NITEforce VHF Power Antenna is finely tuned to support the VHF channels used in Finland (26). It features an SMA female connector, which is compatible with most hunting VHF radios.
