If you are unable to use red dot sights due to the effects of astigmatism, or if red dots appear to "starburst," the 1x magnifying prism sight is the perfect solution to your problem. The prism sight allows for a more complex reticle design, complete with auxiliary lines, making it effective even at longer distances. As the reticle is etched into the lens, you are not reliant on a battery. Even when the battery dies, the reticle remains usable without illumination, just like a traditional riflescope.
