Sako 85 / A7 Trigger Mechanism, Right-Handed
This is the Sako 85 or A7 trigger mechanism designed for the purchase of a new rifle.
The trigger mechanism, also known as a "set trigger" or stecher mechanism, functions similarly to a standard non-set trigger. However, it adds value with the option to lighten the pull by pushing the trigger forward. When set, the trigger pull weight drops from 1.2 kilograms to approximately 250 grams. This is particularly beneficial when hunting birds, shooting at long distances, or in bench rest competitions.
The set trigger can be returned to normal mode simply by engaging the safety.
This trigger mechanism is not sold separately and must be installed by a Sako-authorized and trained gunsmith.
Note! When installing in a new firearm, the labor cost is included in the trigger mechanism price. However, if you wish to install the mechanism in an existing rifle, a labor fee for approximately one hour will be charged for the installation. The set trigger replaces the original trigger mechanism, and the standard mechanism is not included in the shipment.
