Savotta Two-Mag Pouch for AR-15 M05 Woodland

This pouch accommodates two 30-round AR15 magazines. The flap is secured with a fold-over cover and Velcro, while the PALS-attachment system allows for weaving into strong belt loops.

Savotta's flap-top magazine pouches are engineered to carry magazines securely in all conditions, and they are designed for easy opening even with thick winter gloves on. The flap effectively covers the magazines almost 100%, keeping mud, sand, and snow at bay.

A reinforced webbing at the bottom enhances the usability of the pouch, preventing the corners of the magazines from tearing through the fabric first. Additionally, a drainage hole is located at the bottom of the pouch.
On the back, you’ll find our standard PALS attachment slots with folding tops. The attachments can also be woven into loops for 45-50 mm wide belts.

The rubber cord that wraps around the magazine pouch allows for adjustment of the circumference and tightness. This feature is particularly useful when carrying only one magazine, a radio, or a first-aid kit.
The pouch flap is secured with a polyethylene reinforced fold-over cover, known internationally as the “tuck tab,” and colloquially referred to as a “coupler” here, and uses Velcro for secure closure. This fold-over cover is mechanically very straightforward yet extremely reliable compared to plastic buckles, snaps, or simple Velcro. It is almost identical to the attachment straps of our PALS-compatible pouches with a locking reinforced head, but shorter and equipped with a grab strap for quick access.

Thanks to the Velcro, the pouch remains reliably closed even when partially filled, allowing for quick closure without needing to secure the flap. The hook side of the Velcro can be covered with an internal cover piece for nearly silent operation.

Pro-tip: When you take a new pouch into use, squeeze the fold-over flap with your fingers to create a solid C-bend. This makes closing the pouch easier when the curved tip of the locking mechanism seeks its counterpart inside. And don’t worry, polyethylene is a very tough material, it won’t be damaged by bending or twisting, which is why it’s used here as well.
