Trigger Mechanism for Tikka T3x / T3 / T1x, Right-Handed
This trigger mechanism is designed for the Tikka T3x, T3, T1x, or Sako Quad rifle, offered with the purchase of a new firearm.
The trigger mechanism, also known as a 'set trigger' or stecher mechanism, functions similarly to a standard trigger system without a pre-travel. However, it provides added value by allowing the shooter to lighten the trigger pull simply by pushing the trigger forward. When the trigger is set, the pull weight drops from 1.2 kilograms to approximately 250 grams. This feature is particularly advantageous when hunting birds, shooting at long distances, or during precision rifle competitions.
The adjusted trigger pull can be easily restored to standard mode by engaging the safety switch.
This trigger mechanism is not sold separately; it must be installed by a certified and trained gunsmith authorized by Sako.
Note! When installed on a new firearm, the labor fee is included in the trigger mechanism price. However, if you wish to add the mechanism to an existing rifle, an additional charge for the installation time, approximately one hour of labor, will apply. The trigger mechanism replaces the original trigger system and does not include the standard mechanism in the delivery.
