Guideline Laxa 2.0 Waders + Guideline Laxa 3.0 Felt Wading Boots - Wading Package

Guideline Laxa 2.0 Waders + Guideline Laxa 3.0 Felt Wading Boots - Wading Package
Guideline Laxa 2.0 Waders
The Guideline Laxa 2.0 waders are revamped models from the previous "version one". The seams have been improved, the materials are more eco-friendly, and the color has changed. They are constructed from strong, breathable 4-layer nylon fabric with a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm and a moisture-wicking membrane of 5000g/m²/24h. The environmentally friendly PFOA-free DWR outer treatment effectively repels dirt and water. The inner seams are treated with Sidewinder technology, enhancing both tightness and comfort for an improved fit.
At the top, the waders feature two large chest pockets for fly boxes, and thanks to the breathable outer surface, they dry quickly. There are also two cozy fleece-lined pockets for warming hands. The waders come with adjustable suspenders and a belt featuring quick-release high-quality attachments. The ankle area has rubber-reinforced gravel guards. The neoprene foot sections are distinctly designed for left and right feet, ensuring an excellent fit.

Laxa 3.0 Felt Wading Boot
The Guideline Laxa 3.0 wading boot, designed for 2024, is an updated version of its predecessor, featuring a redeveloped and highly comfortable supportive midsole.
The color is the classic "sober dark grey Graphite". The outer fabric is made from durable 900-denier polyester material without DWR treatment, making it free from PFA compounds and fluorocarbons. The outsole material is a classic choice: felt. Unlike many short-lived felt-soled boots, this model stitches the felt all around the midsole, resulting in significantly more durable construction. Many cheaper felt-soled boots end up as wader graveyards precisely because the outsole detaches. This detachment occurs when kicked against underwater stones, especially at the glue on the front edge of the felt layer, which can fail surprisingly quickly. The stitching thus reinforces the outsole attachment to the midsole, guaranteeing more durable boots. The felt provides excellent grip on various wet surfaces, making it the only proper sole material for anglers fishing in areas with primarily wet, clean, and slippery rocky surfaces. The new midsole adds comfort and support - but what does that mean practically? Each step is more comfortable and stable, reducing foot strain and minimizing the risk of falls. Consequently, for the reasons mentioned earlier, you are likely to last longer on your wading days and be like the Black Barbarian fishing from the first cast to the last.
The inner structure of the boot relies heavily on foam that absorbs very little water. This feature is crucial, as it means that supportive wading boots do not need to weigh down when wet, allowing for light and free walking in the morning and a slow slogging through puddles in the evening. Thin additional reinforcement layers in the forefoot and heel areas improve the torsional strength of the boots. With these reinforcements, the shoes retain their shape even when wet in deep water and between rocks. The continued benefits of these reinforcements provide a more comfortable inner structure for your feet and a warmer interior for your toes. The latter is due to reduced pressure on the toe area.
The lower part of the boot is reinforced with rubber to withstand impacts from hard and sharp rocks. The upper part of the lacing utilizes quick-lacing hooks, and at the back of the boot, there is a familiar "wide webbing loop". The Laxa 3.0 wading boots are designed with a wider Scandinavian fit. Traveling anglers will surely enjoy the delightful lightness of the boots and their quick-drying properties. To reduce the ecological footprint, the boots are packaged in boxes made from recycled cardboard.

- Revamped midsole

- Supportive yet lightweight
