Guideline Laxa 2.0 waders are updated versions of the previous "first editions". The seams have improved, materials are now more eco-friendly, and the color has changed. They are made from a robust and breathable 4-layer nylon fabric, featuring a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm and a moisture permeability of 5000g/m²/24h. The environmentally friendly PFOA-free DWR exterior treatment effectively repels dirt and water. The inner seams are treated with Sidewinder technology, which enhances the comfort and fit in addition to improving waterproofing.

The upper part of the waders features 2 large chest pockets for items such as fly boxes, and their breathable outer surface allows for quick drying. There are also 2 comfortable fleece-lined pockets for warming your hands. Available with adjustable suspenders and belt featuring fast and high-quality closures. The ankle area includes rubber-reinforced gravel guards. The neoprene booties are clearly marked for right and left, ensuring an excellent fit.

The waterproof TIZIP® Master Seal zipper offers maximum flexibility and strength. The zipper makes it easy to put on and take off the waders.

Guideline Laxa Traction 3.0 Wading Boots (Rubber Sole + Studs)

The Laxa 3.0 wading boot designed by Guideline for 2024 is an updated version of its predecessor, featuring a newly developed, extremely comfortable, and supportive midsole.

The color remains the classic "sober dark grey Graphite". The outer fabric is durable, made from nine hundred denier polyester, without DWR treatment, meaning it is free from PFA compounds and fluorocarbons. The outsole is made from Guideline's own sticky rubber, enhanced with tungsten studs. This combination is excellent, as the sticky rubber significantly reduces slipping on various surfaces, while the studs grip into soft and treacherous ground, making any terrain manageable. Whether you're wading in rivers, lakes, or coastal areas, the traction version is a solid choice. Rubber is also a natural choice for fishing locations where felt soles are prohibited due to the risks of spreading invasive species. The new midsole thus provides comfort and support - but what does this mean in practice? Every step feels more comfortable and supported, reducing the strain on your feet and decreasing the risk of slips. Consequently, you'll likely enjoy longer days on the water, even embracing the philosophy of "last cast first cast."

The boot's inner construction heavily relies on foam that absorbs minimal water. This feature is crucial because it ensures that supportive wading boots do not become heavy and burdensome when wet, allowing you to walk easily in the morning and casually at night without sloshing around. Thin extra reinforcement layers at the front and heel improve the boots' torsional strength. This helps them maintain their shape even in deep waters and between rocks. The benefits of these reinforcements include a more comfortable interior structure for your feet and a warmer space for your toes due to reduced pressure on the toe area.

The bottom of the boot is reinforced with rubber to withstand impacts from hard and sharp rocks. Speed lacing hooks are utilized at the top of the lacing, and a familiar "wide webbing loop" is found at the rear of the boot. The Laxa 3.0 wading boots are designed with a wide Nordic fit. Traveling anglers will surely appreciate the boots' delightful lightness and rapid drying properties. To minimize ecological impact, the boots are packaged in boxes made from recycled cardboard.
