The InsectShield® technology incorporates a treatment using Permethrin, the same insect repellent used by soldiers and hunters, which has proven to be extremely effective against mosquitoes, flies, and many other irritating bugs, including ticks, lasting up to 70 washes. This is an excellent product line for anglers, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts, whether in the cold or the tropics.

Insect Shield Insect Protection Treatment

This garment has been treated with the Insect Shield method, providing protection against insects. The active ingredient is Permethrin. When Permethrin is bonded to clothing through the Insect Shield method, it adheres to the fabric and does not wash out. Neither Insect Shield nor any other insect repellent product can guarantee complete protection against insect bites.
