Ase Utra S Series SL5 Suppressor reduces firearm noise levels by 22-30 dB (depending on caliber and measurement point). The S Series SL5 suppressors lower the sound pressure level measured at the shooter's ear to approximately 128-135 dB, clearly under the 140 dB threshold generally accepted as the limit for hearing damage from impulse noise.

A reduced sound pressure level decreases the risk of hearing damage for the shooter and significantly reduces noise pollution to the surrounding environment. Additionally, the suppressor notably minimizes both recoil and muzzle flash. The suppressor complies with EU Directive 2003/10/EC requirements (140 Pa or 137 dB (C)). A firearm possession license is required.
